Welcome to IHCA-ICAL

The Idaho Health Care Association – Idaho Center for Assisted Living (IHCA-ICAL) is a member driven association whose mission is to provide the unified voice of our members for the betterment of the profession and the residents they serve. This is done through an engaged membership that drives quality, standard of care, and delivery of services to residents. We arm our membership with innovation, knowledge, tools for economic success, and the public policy to support their work; building our influence in Idaho and beyond.

IHCA-ICAL Dues Value Proposition

Do you really know the value of membership in IHCA-ICAL??

Assisted Living

  • The 2010 cost of ALF membership is approximately 5.5¢ per resident per day.
  • When every other provider group received cuts of 10% to 30% the Association helped prevent ALFs cuts of 10%, although the 3% cuts did continue into 2011.
  • A 10% cut would result in an additional $3.00 per resident per day cut.
  • This is an investment return of nearly 5,000%!!!
