Valley Vista Care Center of Sandpoint is a 77-bed Skilled Nursing Center.

Short-term stays are available for those recuperating
from broken bones, surgery or minor strokes.
Respite Care is available in both the skilled nursing
center and assisted living wing. This service provides the caregiver the relief they need from the constant responsibility of caring
for a loved one. Respite Care is available hourly or daily.

Activities are scheduled on a regular basis to
provide our residents the opportunity to interact with other residents, staff and visitors. We encourage family and friends to visit and take an active
part in the lives of their loved ones as often as possible. Private pay, Medicare and Medicaid eligible clients are welcome.
An in-patient/out-patient Physical Therapy Department
complete with Physical, Occupational, Speech and Aquatic Therapy Pool. Licensed therapists provide programs to maintain mental, physical, emotional
and social well-being.
Aquatic Therapy Center
The Aquatic Therapy Pool is available to Bonner
General Hospital's therapy patients, as well as Valley Vista Care Center. A separate entrance assures privacy for both the client
coming for therapy and the residents in the care center. The pool features a treadmill in the floor and adjustable jets for walking
or swimming against.

Traumatic Brain Injury and Behavior Care Program
Valley Vista Traumatic Brain Injury and Behavior
Care Program staff work together to provide the tools necessary to promote the highest quality of life to those entrusted to us.
The Traumatic Brain Injury and Behavior Care
Programs are designed to provide each client with individualized care and treatment by allowing them:

- gives the client opportunities for choice
- Empowerment
- gives the client control over his/her environment
- Comfort
- provides the client with the least
rigid path of care
- Management
- provides a safe and nurturing approach in the treatment of agitation, aggression
and cognitive disorders associated with Traumatic Brain Injury, Hungtington's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease and related
dementias.
